Last week a OOYYO spotted the used Jaguar X-type on a streets of the Lancaster, United+kingdom – and over the weekend, e spotted the whole fleet of Jaguar group used cars. A busy day in the Lancaster. I saw the X-type get stuck in the traffic direct at the city square. Driving down the hill, a row of three Jaguar X-type models came driving upwards. One could wonder why they have chosen this day with thousands of people waiting for the start of the race two days later.
A publicity stunt perchance? Several commentators have already suggested as much in the comments on the Jaguar scoop. Or perhaps some Jaguar group engineers hanker after an alternative career as Lance Armstrong wannabes!

When selling used cars is your business, good timing is essential - along with an evenly staggered launch schedule. Also the Jaguar is having problems in both departments: not enough fresh products, but a glut thereafter. The used X-type is really good car, but the X-type replacement is scheduled for 2012. We won't see the basic Jaguar X-type to much on the streets of Lancaster, but our nosier observers at the Lancaster have already captured the top-dog X-type version driving at the Lancaster.
